Association of Turkish Kitchen Professionals

Association of Turkish Kitchen Professional is established in 1994, aiming to provide support and communication between individuals and institutions that work and operate in hotels, motels, holiday resorts, restaurants, etc. to produce goods and/or service in İstanbul primaliry, and in other towns. Even though the principal goal of the foundation is providing communication and solidarity between professionals related to cookery, this particular approach is further reflected to outer activity fields of the industry such as food suppliers, cleaning products manuafcturers and marketing companies, individuals and coporate entities that write research and make documentaries on food and beverage. Besides, the association targets increasing scientific researches, supporting and promoting instutions involved in cookery. Crying out activities in order to promote the Turkish Kitchen Profeesionals provides guidance and information to foreign guests and researchers who conduct studies on Turkish Cuisine in place. The foundation further aims to introduce gastronomy tourism in Turkey and continues its implementations under the leadership of Yaşçın Manav. The Board of Directors constitues of Özcan Hakcan, Abdullah Ergüven, Zeynep Ada Ulusoy, Zuhal Arıkdal, Ahmet Bircan Eresin and Sadık Dönmezer.
